About
About 10 years ago I started as a Hoofcare Professional and I have since been active in the Northern part of the Netherlands and Germany. Since 2 years I am offering my hoofcare services to horse owners in Southern Louisiana and Southern Mississippi.
I learned the craft through several hoofcare training courses, internships and seminars. Each year I am continuing my education through clinics and seminars and I know that I will never be finished with educating myself.
Working with horses is a pleasure for me rather than a job. Providing hoofcare is more to me than just a way of making a living. As a hoofcare provider I enjoy my work and I am motivated to do the best job possible. I am willing to think critically with you about use/management factors and the specific dietary needs which can impact hoofhealth.
All of your questions I am willing to answer and I will share my knowledge and theory behind what I do and why I do it. I will explain the factors that affect the long-term outcome of the trim.
Being punctual, and replying to messages promptly, and keeping my appointments are important to me.
I am a member of the Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners (PHCP).
